Hi Doc:

Just read your piece on Journalism without Twitter. Sorry about the problems you are writing about. I am also sorry that you refuse to learn how to solve problems.

Twitter depends on people like you, who want to get their name in front people. Obviously. I don't understand Twitter and their process as well as their rules -- I assume it has to do with your writing for multiple publishers -- which bothers me in that I have no way of knowing where you will pop up. I try to save every thing you write, since you are a great writer and you are a good example of what not to do.

You don't care about me enough to respond to my writing, but you care enough about yourself to waste your time on Twitter. And what you write is largely attempts to change human behavior, which is wrong in a democracy -- the government makes the laws. And they failed miserably when it comes to the so called "Open Web"

There has to be standards if people are going to talk to each other. And people need to communicate with each other and government has to furnish the infrastructure.

Writing for different publishers is ok, providing the publishers publish in the same place and that people are able to publish comments, questions, etc. Thus allowing readers to communicate with each other. All publications to be saved for future consumption -- another need for standardization.

Sorry, Doc, but we people have to care enough about each other to communicate in order to define and solve problems.

You are great about identifying problems - lousy about solving them. That 24.4K is nothing compared to the possibility you are missing.

To be continued -

I really believe in public discussion; however, Email is the best process for my software in it's present state. Please put a "MYWAY" in your title to get my attention. rest assured, I am working on a better system.
