Subject: You Don't Care!!!
Sorry, Mr. Pagliarini, that probably should be written "You Don't Know How To Care." You have asked me to contact my representatives in Washington -- a task that I refuse to do because I would have to tell them that I favor discontinue of government financial support.
The world is changing -- the old concept of public television died a long, long time ago. Donating money to a dead concept is foolish, especially when the solution is so readily available -- if you are willing to open your mind.
You have heard about "social networks" -- right??
Yes, I recognize that you are doing something in that area -- proving my point -- you don't know how!!!
You need to form you own social network -- a network designed to serve your viewers -- a network worth subscribing to.
It's easy, really -- you start by publishing email addresses for each staff member. Then you start a "How can we serve you better??" campaign. Obviously, your present sustaining members need special consideration.
You will get a lot of garbage and a lot of valuable suggestions -- and if you learn to care and demonstrate same, your financial problems will end, (by definition).
Thanks for your time.
