Subject: Note to Barry Kibrick II

Sorry,  I don't know of any other method to access my web site. Besides, the fire wall is a valid protective procedure adapted by wise organizations. If you still can't access with your home computer, and really want to read some of my previous stuff, I'll make a disc to send you.  However, it really isn't all that important since I'm in the process of updating my entire story.

So, let's get down to business -- your purpose:

Create an environment where people can find a deeper understanding of their world and universe and a greater appreciation for their role in it all.

Great -- You, sir, are on the right track -- with the wrong vehicle!!

The point is that the present Personal Computer is the "Wrong Vehicle". Obviously, I put the blame on Bill Gates because I am a Windows Programmer. Steve Jobs was responsible for Apple Computer, while many others are involved -- just count the new-found billionaires.

There is no way, in the new found computer age, to understand the world, with a faulty computer. You need a data base because you will be accumulating data. You need an honest, trustworthy computer to process that data. This process must remain completely under the individual users control. No Hacking, No Patching, No uncontrolled programming.

We Should Outlaw the Browser...

Regarding your efforts so far: Thanks - for doing what you promised.  Obviously you can be trusted; however, what are going to do when the load becomes too much -- that is the question.

You don't need to respond to every email you receive, you need to satisfy the sender's need to believe that his/her participation was appreciated (no form letters). You might start with a properly programmed Comment System.

BTW, your "Jump First" philosophy can become a very serious problem, very quickly. Besides, this 88 year young Process Engineer (30 years) turned Computer Programmer (41 years) is still capable of helping.

Thanks

I don't provide for comments since that is a system designed to control the communication process -- I do provide an e-mail address!! (Please put a [MYWAY] in your title to get my attention).

BTW, I am working on a replacement system for individuals -- and I sure could use some help. Please see http://pdmsb.com, a work-in-process.
