I really hate to get personal; however...

You, Glenn, have got your proverbial "head up your ass" if you think that encryption will solve any of our current problems.

Sorry about that, but your closed mind is getting you into trouble. The fact of the matter is you are becoming a part of the problem. You are dealing with symptoms, as opposed to causes -- which, of course, is the primary Journalism problem.

I assume that you are aware of the controversy over the comments of Jonathan Gruber about the "stupidity" of American voters -- too bad that the media didn't capitalize on that comment.

Small wonder, but then, the media, journalism included, is responsible for that stupidity.

Think about it this way -- The object of your present activity is the identification of a problem, or problems, with our government. The cause, in this case, is really quite obvious -- the voters are responsible for the quality of our government.

But, being human, you can't blame them if you haven't trained them. And, whose job is training -- beyond formal education -- Journalism, the "watch-dogs."

If you really wish to save our world you have to stop worrying about everybody else and start worrying about the "watch-dogs." Journalism needs to transition from mere writers to teachers. You need to help provide the voters with the ability to elect competent representation.

To be continued (I really hope)

I don't provide for comments since that is a system designed to control the communication process -- I do provide an e-mail address!! (Please put a [MYWAY] in your title to get my attention).

BTW, I am working on a replacement system -- and I sure could use some help.
